It is the clients responsibility to ensure their dog is fit and healthy and must notify us of any issues prior to their appointment or at the time of collection. Grooming may expose underlying skin and health problems that we cannot be held liable for. Whilst every care and attention is given to your dog they are accepted at your own risk.

Our salon is based near Avon Valley Adventure Park, between Keynsham and Saltford, and so is ideally situated for customers in the south of Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas. There is plenty of parking so you can drop off right outside the salon door.
Both Paule and Susan are professionals and hold the Full City & Guilds: Level 3 Diploma for Professional Dog Stylists and are also members of members of The Groomers Spotlight for your peace of mind.We are also registered with the Animal Care CPD Scheme. We both pride ourselves in keeping up with current standards and information and regularly attend grooming shows, competitions, seminars and events.

Hair & Hounds Dog Grooming offer a friendly and professional service. Depending on your requirements, this includes Trimming, Hand Stripping, Bathing and Nail Clipping plus much more. We use a wide range of professional dog shampoos, plus other specific treatment shampoos. Please feel free in to bring in any grooming products your vet has prescribed that we may need to use for the groom.

Paule and Susan always take such good care of Poppy, trimming and grooming her so she’s comfortable and the fact they’re so warm and welcoming is a bonus! They go above and beyond fitting Poppy in around my busy schedule, even calling me when there are cancellations. Bring your dog here and they’ll come home looking, feeling and smelling gorgeous!
