Southbourne Farm Shop
At the heart of the community for nearly 40 years, we are a family run Farm Shop with several generations' history of farming in the area. We believe in sourcing produce locally when possible: buy fresh, eat fresh and support local. We pride ourselves on honest, friendly, expert service. Our stock changes seasonally, and so it's worth coming for a browse, to see what's in store right now.

Bread is freshly made Tuesdays through to Saturdays, including Southbourne Wild Soudough, Malted Barley, Crusty White, Sisu Rye, and the non-wheat Seeded Loaf. At the weekend, our bakery also produces mouth-watering patisserie treats. We've a huge range of fruit and veg and we source as much of our fresh produce as locally as possible.
Services
Our Zero-Waste Refill Station features over 40 products that are available to buy using our easy-to-use electronic weighing scales and our gravity dispensers. The range includes nuts, seeds, grains, pasta, rice, dried fruit and coffee beans. Our staff are on-hand to talk you through the process, if you require help.
We have our own on-site bakery at Southbourne Farm Shop, creating handmade fresh Artisan bread five days a week (Tuesday through to Saturday). We are always adding to our range, but below we have listed some of the loaves that we currently bake, including Southbourne Wild Sourdough, Malted Barley, Crusty White, and Sisu Rye.
We have partnered with Johnsons Enterprises as our visiting Fishmonger. Debbie and Albert can be found on our forecourt every Tuesday & Friday from 11:00am until 2.00pm. With an incredible knowledge of their range, they can offer advice on the best cooking methods and fully prepare the fish to your requirements.
We are situated on the A259 Main Road in the heart of Southbourne, between Chichester and Bosham to the East, and Emsworth and Havant to the West. Southbourne train station is a short walk away and the 700 bus has a frequent service past our door. Fantastic selection of locally grown produce prices are reasonable too. Good, large, well laid out car park. A must if you want fresh vegetables and meat plus other ingredients.

Really great farm shop.
They always have random vegan stuff. Love the refill oat milk. Needs a bit if a shake but its local and so creamy.
The staff are above helpful. I went in near Christmas and was wondering if they had any vegan beer, its all local beer so i was unsure. The staff literally helped me soo much. She spoke with the manager, who then looked into it further. After 10 minutes of searching we found a few of the beers were vegan.
The fresh bread, is amazing...
The owner is positive and will always talk and ask for feedback.
The refill area is great. I was worried my nuts were too

This farm shop is fantastic! We do most of our shopping here when we camp down at Cobnor. Fantastic selection of pretty much everything, including frozen meals. The home made sausage rolls are particularly good! Not cheap but absolutely worth the extra.

Lovely little shop in a perfect place.
Its only getting 4 stars because almost all of the things they sell will be sold out almost immediately so if you want any freshly baked goods you need to get in there early

A well stocked and vibrant farm shop with plenty of fresh produce. Also lots of tinned and jarred staples along with fresh and frozen meats. Plenty of choice and a good fill your own section. Bit chaotic at the tills when more than a couple a people trying to pay. Potted and fresh flowers too as well as pets foods. An eclectic mix, a bit pricey and a bit cramped in places but overall worth seeking out.

Lots of variety of food and fresh veg. Staff very friendly. Just wish there was more choice of sizes of free range eggs. Majority had 3 stamped on them showing they are from caged chickens which I would never buy. Really thought farms were doing away with this practice. Even though it was a lovely shop I will be going back to my usual farm shop that only stocks free range eggs.

The early bird catches the best bread ❤️
Had to buy the rhubarb tart twice since it was so delicious. Also tried some of the frozen pastries which were super tasty.

Staff are fab, can get local milk here and use own containers. Dry goods and some produce can be quite expensive, I bought honey that turned out not to be local so was a little disappointed as we have so many great local suppliers.
Good for the more unusual and eco friendly products. Fabulous ice cream selection!
As an example of price, 400ml chaokoh coconut milk £1.99 (a different brand is £2.99), in sainsburys its £1.30.
