Kevin J Lack has been caring for families and their loved ones for over thirty years and is proud to work alongside his son Joshua. Our Independent Family Funeral Service offers a personal and compassionate service to assist you at your time of need. You will generally speak to and see the same person throughout your time with us.
We have put together some information to assist you in choosing the right service for your loved one. Whether you are looking towards cremation or burial there are many options available. Your decision may be influenced on many factors including tradition, religion, cost and the wishes of your loved one.
Here at K. J. Lack we understand how important it is to be able to travel to the service with your family and friends, this is why we are proud to offer our Mercedes Hearse, Limousine and our two Mercedes E Class Saloon's. During Victorian times, a funeral was not complete without some degree of pomp and ceremony provided by Funeral Directors with black plumed horses, elaborate horse drawn hearses.
We can advise on and place an announcement in a local or national newspaper on your behalf. This has three useful objectives: to inform anyone wishing to attend of the date, time and location of the funeral; to express your wishes regarding flowers for the funeral or donations to a named charity; and reduce the chances of an embarrassing encounter with an uninformed friend or neighbour.
There comes a time in all our lives when it's only natural to think about our loved ones and what we'd like to leave them. The bereaved go through enough without having to think about whether they have made the right decision. By deciding on the arrangements and paying for you funeral in advance you can gain the peace of mind knowing your loved ones will be spared the unnecessary distress and expense.

I can thoroughly recommend K. Lack Funeral Services. They tended to both of my parents funerals and also, in my capacity as a musician, I have played the bagpipes for them on several occasions, so I have seen them work 'behind the scene' and know them to be totally professional and very attentive. On the day they are completely focussed on the families needs and all the staff are also respectful.
