My mum recently passed away in Torbay hospital. Being a Brixham family, we did not hesitate to choose Stockman and Loram to arrange her funeral. Vanessa was very compassionate and caring throughout and made the whole process a beautiful experience.I made the very difficult decision to go and see my mum at the chapel of rest. I was apprehensive and quite worried I’d have made the wrong decision but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Vanessa dressed her so very beautifully, tastefully presented yet so glamorous. Mum would have loved it and I have no regrets! Seb made an out of hours visit especially

Wonderful service for my mum. Everything was done exactly as we asked at Stockmans chapel. We wanted some extra seats which Vanessa made sure of, even putting a space for a relative with a wheelchair. Mums coffin was beautiful and made of wicker. we did our own flowers from her garden.

I don't review usually but felt I should, as I was shocked how this company dealt with what was the worst time of our lives.
My husband sadly passed from a missed cancer diagnosis owing to the pandemic. Stockmans had agreed that any Covid protocols were dealt with quietly and delicately on the door. And masks were not mandatory!
Vanessa (from stockman) was extremely insensitive when 'shouting' angrily over my husbands coffin to guests regarding masks ect. Considering we hadn't lined up to enter the building yet!
Also I had 40 ordered of service, for 40 guests. They supplied 36 chairs denied

I have recently used Stockman and Loram Funeral Services following the sad passing of both my grandmother and father in the last 2 months. My wife and I were guided through the process of arranging my father's funeral. We were indecisive and daunted but our allocated funeral director was patient with us, assuring us that there was no requirement to make any rash decisions until we were absolutely positive.
We were appointed a Reverend who visited us at home to talk through the order of service and delivering the most beautiful service we could wish for.
The second time we have used the company and would not hesitate in doing so again.
