This club is very friendly and welcoming, a lovely place to meet people, of all works of life, and you can also parcisipate in a game or two, being Bowls or darts even Snooker, a game of card with a pint and occationaly a quiz night as well. This is just to say a big thank you for the profesional way you dealt with our private party, 40 people was a lot to cater for and you did a splendid job without a hitch.
The staff in both the resturant and the bar were very pleasant and accommadating. Thanks again for a wonderful evening. As a new player I was apprehensive about joining a club, but the members treated my like an old friend they've known for years and I was welcomed as one of their own.

Croydon Bowling Club is the ideal venue for your function. We are set in beautiful, peaceful grounds in South Croydon providing the perfect backdrop for your celebration, commemoration or presentation. We have a lovely restaurant which is able to cater for up to 100 people and a well stocked bar with very reasonable prices.
We welcome players of all levels to try the game and other members are willing to provide tuition if requested. Do we have any budding Ronnie O'Sullivans who would be interested in playing in a snooker ladder at the club? Basically all of the players who are interested get placed on a list in the snooker room, what then happens is people can challenge other players who are within a couple of names of theirs on the list.
The match at Croydon was a close call, Croydon were leading the match by one shot at the beginning of the final end, after being behide for most of the game, but Wey Valley managed to get the two shots needed to win. Well done to them and we hope that they do well in the next round. We needed 6 pionts to stay in the first division, we achieved 10 pionts, well done Croydon.
