Bumblebees is a spacious and stimulating environment which all our children are nurtured and provided with a safe, calm and responsive atmosphere to develop positive attachments and form their first relationships with other adults and peers. This reinforces and develops key attachments which are vital for their personal, social and emotional development.

Crickets offer activities planned to support the children's needs and development; these are influenced by ongoing observations and tailored to your child's development as well as free choice activities which are on offer throughout the day.

Around the age of two children's language skills develop at a fast rate, to support children's communication & language development we provide them with group sessions and individual 1:1 with staff throughout the day.For children moving up from the toddler rooms we carry out regular trials with the children to ensure they have a smooth transition and get to know the staff, building a positive and trusting relationship together.

Our preschool classes are for children aged 3 years to 5 years, our aim is to prepare your child for school by encouraging self-independence such as toileting, dressing/undressing themselves, giving out small responsibilities such as being 'the helper'.

As well as providing a fun environment that enables your children to explore and learn, our activities are stemmed from the children's likes and interests and from doing general observations we base our routine and classroom resources around these.We also help develop your child's understanding of the world by linking activities to festivals, seasons, environment and family life.

It is set within its own secure bungalow children can play games or just relax, we have our own secure garden for the children run around and explore!. We want children to come and have fun at our house so each holiday feature's a different program of exciting events!

Indoors we offer a nice cosy room to relax and chill with a book or watch a film, as well as the planned themed events in the main room we have various activities to choose from daily such a Nintendo wii, arts and crafts, puzzles, board games, cooking/baking and many more.We occasionally get outside children's entertainers to come in to teach new skills such football coaches, gymnastics coaches and musicians.

Feet funding - this is for children who have turned 2 years and parents are eligible please check www.westsussex.gov.uk to see if you qualify for this. This will commence the term after their second birthday. The term after your child turns 3 years your child is eligible for 15 hours funding. If you work 16 hours a week and earn less than 100,000 a year you are entitled to 30 hours a week funding.
