Acrefine ASI-R type seismically restrained rubber mounts are designed to limit in all directions any equipment movement caused by external forces such as seismic events. The isolator has steel housing with four bolt-down holes. The equipment is bolted directly to the steel insert embedded in the rubber and provides all-directional restraint for lateral and vertical loads.
Acrefine ASI-T4 Type seismic vibration isolators are designed for floor mounted equipment such as cooling towers, chillers and boilers. These isolators are ideally suited for applications where seismic or high wind forces are likely. Spring deflections of 50 mm (2) provide excellent noise and vibration control.
Acrefine ASI-T6 type seismic vibration isolators are designed to carry heavy loads. The isolator housing is fabricated from high quality welded steel. This design incorporates four restraining points that limit vertical and lateral movement of the equipment caused by external forces such as high winds or seismic events.
Acrefine ASB-GRP seismic bracing kit consist of steel wire rope, a self-locking grip and attachment bracket(s). One side of the wire rope is pre-assembled to eyelet or additional attachment bracket(s). The other side is left loose for field adjustment and locking with grip. Product is supplied in ready-to-use kits.
Acrefine ASB-HS handswagers have been specifically designed for swaging (crimping) sleeves on to the wire ropes of ASB-CBL seismic bracing products. The sleeves used in the manufacture of seismic wire ropes are made of special alloys and therefore require a specific tool for swaging. This sleeve material is designed to be softer, so it spreads evenly around the wire rope.
