With over 30 years experience, Karen and Jim Walsh own and run Lone Valley Kennels in Segensworth West, near Fareham, Hampshire. Our small kennels are run with the personal touch. We have just 30 kennels for a maximum of 50 dogs; all of the dogs entrusted to our care will be looked after as individuals.
Your dog will enjoy individual accommodation and exercise in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. If your dog requires any special care, extra time will be given to them to ensure their needs are met. We have a designated "quiet" block, where soothing music is played throughout the day.

Your dog is our priority! Our ethos of care has resulted in much of our business being repeat clients and their referrals. Are you anxious about leaving your beloved pet in kennels? You need not be with us. Your dog will receive the highest levels of care and attention, and we are very happy to discuss any concerns you may have to put your mind at ease.
We are very proud of the standard of our year-round boarding kennels here in Segensworth West, near Fareham, Hampshire. Each kennel has a large covered run sheltering your dog from adverse weather - we really are set-up to care for your dog whatever the season!. All dogs are charged a full daily rate on the arrival day.
These kennels are the best. My little yorkie, Angel was very scared at being left. I did not need to be worried; these lovely people took her into their home to stay for her holiday. She came back very contented and happy. We will be back next year. Our Cocker, Charlie, really enjoys his holidays when staying with you.

I can’t recommend Lone Valley enough!!! Just picked up our Chewie after his second time with them, remembered me straight away, remembered Chewie. They were all so lovely to me as I was anxious to leave him the first time as if never left him before, they made me feel so calm, took me through to see his bedroom and it really put me at ease. When I… dropped him off the second time he was the most excited to see them and was so happy I immediately knew they treated him amazingly. I left frank at lone valley whilst we moved house for two nights for the first time (I’ve never kennelled before and was quite nervous) and they were great. Excellent space and very clean. All staff are very friendly and most importantly my dog came back as if he’d never been away :)

Best kennels we have ever used!!! Our normally stressed and anxious pooch has come home so calm in comparison to other kennels used in the past... this tells us that the care and personal attention he has… received the last two weeks must of been amazing, us and our four legged friends have never been happier. Would never use any other boarding for our dogs... thank you so much to the owners of lone valley x

Extremely disorganised. When I collected our dog the young girl said that she was on her own with 20+ dogs which is why she did not respond to my phone calls that morning. She then admitted the owners were away for two weeks. My dog had a yellow stain on his fur and was sick after returning home. Will never use again.

Went to view these kennels for our 3 little dogs. To say I was shocked was an understatement. All dogs in outdoor pens which were cold and bare and exposed to the elements. All they had was their water bowl and a couple of dogs had a toy. Asked about the heating as it was a cold rainy , windy day and told they sometimes put the heaters on but dogs fur was warm enough. They open the hatch to let them go into the back for their bedding in the evening. So lying on a bare cold concrete floor is what they will be doing apart from getting out in the garden once ( field) / once/ twice which has to be

Would very highly recommend Karen and Jim as they r just absolutely brilliant in every way.... Jasper as been to stay with them since he was 7 months old... he is now 4yrs old, he absolutely loves his holiday. He adores Karen and Chelsea as when he see’s then he can’t get enough cuddles,, and as always been very happy when we take him home. Thank you 😊

I have had 4 dogs over the past 24 years board at Lone Valley Kennels and we have never had a problem, we have only experienced love and care for our dogs. Recently our very small, young dogs have boarded for the first time for 12 days, my partner and I were nervous but they came back full of beans and, the boy who doesn't take to new people well, absolutely loved everyone who took care of him (a true miracle)!! The girl is a fussy eater when my partner and I are away and Lone Valley gave her extra TLC and ate like normal!! We will gladly bring our dogs back to Lone Valley Kennels over and over
