Our telephone operator will always check train times ahead of your arrival, to ensure we are there to greet you from your train, even if delayed.
Davies Taxis offer private taxi for customers in and around the Keswick area. The fleet consists of 16 vehicles and there is usually a vehicle able to come directly to pick you up. Booked this taxi company through our hotel to bring us home at 10pm. They didn’t turn up and when we called them they denied we had booked with them. We couldn’t get another taxi as all were fully booked and had to walk home 3 miles in the pitch black dark. DONT USE! Appalling. Imagine if this was someone who was alone.

I would really recommend this service for anyone looking to explore the Lake District area and do not have access to a car. My friends and I got in a taxi with Caroline, who was really lovely and helpful. She offered to drive us around to various sites, and was very thoughtful and knowledgeable with her suggestions. We truly enjoyed the service offered, and would definitely consider hiring another cab from Davies Taxis when next back in the area.
