Sue's Taxis was founded in 1996 by Sue Mostyn and has steadily become the most successful taxi firm in Workington. With a fleet of 6 vehicles, the new addition of a minibus and extra staff will ensure that whatever your needs Sue's Taxis have you covered. All work is undertaken, from short local journeys to farther afield, airport work, contract work, block booking and invoicing is available upon request.

All have regular medical examinations, all have enhanced CRB/DBS checks and have all passed an advanced driving test, so you can rest assured that whatever your needs, you are in safe hands. We have lady drivers, where possible we will endeavour to send if requested for lady passengers and children.
Taxi fares in Workington are set for all licensed taxis by Allerdale Borough Council, and those are the taxi prices we charge. All our vehicles have taxi meters which have been installed by Holcar and found to be accurate. The taxi meter will display the current taxi tariff.
As part of our taxi price promise to you we assure you that our drivers will take the shortest route to destinations, when possible, unless instructed otherwise by the customer.And if you are disabled, our taxi drivers will give you assistance, but won't make any additional charge because you have a wheelchair - or if you require a guide dog.
