Priors Mead is a small, family-run care home in Reigate, near Redhill, that exclusively cares for clients with complimentary needs to ensure the best quality of life for all our clients. Deciding which care home works best for you is a big decision. Of course, your safety and security are paramount.
It's also vital to make sure you'll have the right level of individual care and support. But that's far from the whole story. Taking effective care as a given, the deciding factor should be whether it's the kind of place you feel you'd fit in, the kind of place you'd want to call home. Obviously, we'd like you to consider us when choosing where you want to live.

Services
For over 30 years, residential care has been the mainstay of the service we've offered. During that time, our philosophy has always been to put equal emphasis on "care" and "home". It's what our philosophy of care in a caring way means in practice. On the care side our highly qualified staff will, of course, be there to support you when you need them, day and night.
A change is a good as a rest, at any age. But as we get older, we all have times when we need a bit more support. That's where our short-term residential care can prove invaluable. You might need extra help after a hospital stay to make sure you're fully fit to return home. Or maybe your family support is off for a couple of weeks' holiday, and they'd be happier knowing you were safe.
But by far the best way for you to see what we are about is to judge for yourself. So come and see us. It'll give you a chance to meet the staff and talk to some of our residents in confidence. Call us to arrange a time - or just pop in when you're in the area. We really do focus everything we do around our clients, but don't take our word for it.
There's no doubt, shared physical and mental activities promote both individual well-being and a sense of community. So, at Priors Mead, you'll find there's always something to look forward to in the diary. Events at Priors Mead include darts matches, bingo, singing lessons, yoga, shopping, pub lunches and theatre trips to get you out and about.

My mother has been at Priors Mead for a few months now and is settling in nicely. It wasn't easy making the transition during lockdown but Priors Mead did everything they could to welcome my mother and help her find her feet. Everyone has been friendly, supportive and caring - we couldn't have asked for more.

The atmosphere is always calm and welcoming and the residents are always smiling and friendly.
My mum was there for 15 months before she passed away, and her final months were happy and fun filled. She was always smiling.
If deciding on a care home I strongly advise visiting Priorsmead to see for yourself.
