Now, more than ever, our health is vitally important. Our purpose has always been to help keep you healthy, active and enjoying the sports and actives that you love. We believe in a 'hands on' approach to physiotherapy, feeling how your joints and muscles are moving and why they are causing you an issue.
We combine traditional physiotherapy techniques, such as soft tissue massage and joint mobilisation with the latest medical technological devices including MBST, shockwave therapy and cryotherapy units. Physio Fitness gives everyone access to the same high standards of treatment an injured elite athlete would receive.

Dave set up Physiofitness in 2010 after working full time in professional football with Barnet, AFC Bournemouth and the England Under 18's as well as various private practice roles. Dave saw there was a clear need for high quality sports physiotherapy treatment available to everyone.
Since Physiofitness' inception Dave has treated many elite sports at the clinic including individuals such as Geeva Mentor (England Netball), Mark Blundell (Formula One) and Bob Wilson (Ex Arsenal GK) as well as hundreds of amateur and semi professional athletes.Dave has a keen interest in the older athlete and is currently writing a book about how to keep competitive as the years tick by.

Shockwave is an acoustic wave which carries high energy to injured tissue. The energy promotes regeneration and reparative processes of the bones, tendons and other soft tissues. If you have a longstanding injury, that tends to go in cycles of getting better then worse is characterised by being stiff when you start moving or exercising but better the more you move then it is likely Shockwave Therapy could be the right treatment option for you.
The Clinic location reflects the Physio Fitness brand perfectly, a converted grain store, on the Parley Manor grounds, that is now home to us. A comfortable, non intimidating and relaxing environment in which to rehabilitate you back to full health and fitness. Enjoy the drive in as you turn off the main Bournemouth Airport road and past the ponds.
Dave, Tom and the team provide an excellent and personal service. As a semi professional athlete I can safely say that the reason I am still performing at the top of my game is due to the weekly treatment that I receive from the experts at Physio Fitness. They apply their knowledge to my sport and the movements that I complete.
We treat injuries from the moment they occur right through to return to fitness. Our approach to physiotherapy is hands on, assessing your problem and treating you based on your individual requirements. From mobilisation work to taping, strengthening to stretching, we thoroughly explain every step of the process ensuring you understand your injury and treatment.
