I am yet to cast a judgement. We will be putting a formal complaint in against Halcyon Yacht Deliveries for abandoning our yacht and a female crew member in the Maldives - it will be interesting to see how it is dealt with and whether a fair and reasonable assessment is carried out.
So far they have been very helpful in offering advising about the process to follow for making a formal complaint. Unfortunately, Halcyon have ignored our request to do this formally on our behalf.

Terrible experience with the BMF, when trying to formally complain about a boating service we used, the complaint should have been dealt with in 3 weeks. It's now 4 months later and all the promises to call us back have been lies apparently. Very disappointed and considering small claims instead now, but we have wasted so much time waiting for these guys to input their piece... Do not recommend if requiring help and/or support for a bad marine service, even though the policy outlines exactly how it's all meant to work. Dismal.

Halcyon Yachts are proud to be members of the BMF. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and the organisation offers excellent support to those in the maritime industry.
