Services
Leave A20 at Crittall's Corner (Orpington/Footscray A224) by B & Q Superstore - do not go over flyover! Take A224 to Orpington via Sevenoaks Way, continuing into Court Road following signs to M25 Sevenoaks. At this moment in time we have limited our menu, but would still like to offer our customers some wonderful pub grub. Please bear with us at this time and we will hopefully get back to normal very soon. Dietary requirements: If you require something special please let us know as most of our dishes are cooked from 'scratch' and our chefs can adapt to suit most needs.
There is a great selection of real ales, which includes our resident 'Sussex Best Bitter'. We also stock guest ales including 'Tribute Cornish Real Ale', 'Sharps, Doombar and Cornish Coaster'. Our interesting 'Wine list' has been carefully chosen to satisfy the more discerning palettes, whether to drink on its own, or to compliment a meal.

So the food was incredible, a nice selection of more than just traditional pub food. Was seated and told a menu would be bought over, waited for over 20 minutes before having to ask for a menu but that was the only downside. Perhaps short staffed with covid? Would recommend and could have easily been 5 stars.

Really old historic pub. Great atmosphere and menu. Very attentive service. We had a range of starters all very good quality and roast dinners cooked to perfection. Will visit again for sure. Thank you for a lovely lunch. I got so involved with eating forgot to take photos of mains. Too full for deserts. Next time

Fantastic country pub/restaurant with great food and really great service from a welcoming team. Inside the pub has a really interesting and well thought out decor and it has an equally interesting large outdoor area for al fresco dining when the weather allows. Went with children who were equally welcomed and catered for with smaller plates from the main menu. Good range of beers, spirits and lagers and some interesting and unique food offerings such as 'pickled egg ale battered pickles'!
