To bridge the housing gap for those in rental accommodation, looking to take that first step on the housing ladder. Thomas Alfred Homes was created in memory of Tom Hope, site foreman and project manager for prolific Uckfield town developer Barham Estates Limited throughout the 20th Century.

We acquired a site in the London Borough of Bexley, which had planning permission for a single detached unit. We saw an opportunity to maximize the site's potential and amended the planning to build a pair of 3 bedroom semi-detached houses. The development is now complete and both properties are now on the market.
When we purchased the site in Bexleyheath, the original planning was for a large 4 bedroom detached property. To unlock the full site's potential we worked with our architects to design a new scheme and submitted plans for a pair of 3 bedroom semi-detached houses. This also follows T A Homes ethos of creating 'Normal Houses for Normal People'.
We worked closely with the land-owner and achieved planning for a 4 bedroom detached dwelling on a garden plot. Once planning was successful, the legal agreement allowed us to purchase the land. The property has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 reception rooms, a large kitchen and study with a detached double garage.
Thomas Alfred Homes are always seeking potential development opportunities primarily in the South East of England, although we do consider projects outside our main area. Our team of in-house professionals can identify sites quickly. For our strategic land division, we will obtain planning approvals with our niche market in mind.
