Services
Newbury Manor Care Home is situated in Newbury Lane, Oldbury. The Home is purpose built to a high standard of specification to provide an environment that allows for privacy, choice and a dignified lifestyle whilst also providing a full range of personal and nursing care service to meet all identified needs.
Newbury Manor stands in its own grounds and there is a large car park facility at the front. Our garden surrounds three sides of the Home with access from the main lounge. There is a lawn and paved patio area which provides a safe and attractive seating area for the residents. The Home has 56 bedrooms over 2 floors with the use of two lifts.
All residents are encouraged to continue their friendships and hobbies that they enjoyed prior to admission. Activites play an important part of daily life and to facilitate this the Home has a full time activities organiser. There is a programme of activites displayed within the home and also we undertake one to one activites for residents either unable to join or have requested not to be part of group activities.
Residents are actively encouraged to welcome their friends and family at their discretion. There are no restrictions on visiting times but we do ask all visitors to sign in and out of the Visitors Book in reception for fire safety reasons. There is a quiet area in the entrance lobby and separate rooms that may be used for private meetings, when either the communal areas or bedrooms are inappropriate.
All care staff within the Home are appropriately qualified to deliver the highest standards of care. A continuous staff training programme is in place to ensure that these high standards are maintained in line with the latest initiatives, best practices and developments in care, as may be laid down in appropriate legislation, regulations and Care Quality Commission guidelines.

My grandmother has been staying in this lovely home for a fair few months now. It very nicely furnished but the best part is the staff who are all very friendly and professional. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to visit recently in light of the Covid-19 pandemic but she seems very happy on FaceTime!

My mother in law was placed here for just over 2 months I would not recommend this home for any one who wishes to be cared for . Each time we saw her through the glass door ( covid restrictions) she was wearing the same clothes obviously not having the personal care that she needed while suffering with dementia ended up with bacterial infection . Management , Diane and Kam, very poor couldn't even remember her name knew her by room number that says it all . It is a home but CARE it's not.
