Primrose Hall Holiday Cottage Rutland
Primrose Hall is a beautifully renovated, Grade 2 listed stone barn conversion. It is ideally situated in the Rutland village of Empingham, within walking distance of Rutland Water's North Shore. The cottage has 2 good-sized bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 people, and a spacious, open plan ground floor.

Fully equipped for modern living, it retains many of its original features and character. We welcome all guests, including singles, couples, families and friends. We are also dog friendly. Empingham nestles in the Gwash Valley, equidistant from the charming Georgian town of Stamford, and Rutland's county town, Oakham.
Services
We have lived in Empingham for over 25 years. Our love for the area, together with our pride in the preservation of Primrose Hall, is evident in our commitment to ensuring our guests enjoy their stay. As well as being holiday cottage owners, Dale is a conservation volunteer at Rutland Water and Helen is a local primary school teacher.
This charming two bedroom cottage is family and dog friendly, with parking on the quiet road directly outside the front door. It includes an open plan kitchen/diner and lounge, a downstairs shower room/cloakroom, two bedrooms (one double, one twin), an upstairs cloakroom and an outside seating area.
By car: The village of Empingham is situated on the A606, halfway between Stamford and Oakham, just off the A1. By rail: There are good railway links to Oakham and Stamford, both around 6 miles from the cottage. Buses and taxis are available to get you the rest of the way. However, pick up from the station is available by arrangement.
A delightfully characterful property in a lovely part of the world - loved our return visit! Thank you very much for everything in the cottage, as well as your kind and thoughtful supply of delicious food and freshly baked bread. Much appreciated. It's been comfortable and convenient for our stay, providing such a warm and relaxing base whilst visiting the nearby areas.

Stayed in October 21. A great place to stay. Probably the best holiday cottage I've ever stayed it. Comfortable, and very thoughtfully arranged.
