Services
Our belief is that the care and attention afforded to a baby in its initial years is a key part of its future development. At Balfour Nursery this starts in our baby room. From the outset, our beautifully well-planned baby room provides our babies with the space to explore and expand their development in the prime areas of learning.
At Balfour Nursery we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS). The EYFS is a single curriculum framework that supports children's learning and development from birth to 5 years (end of the child's reception year). The EYFS is made up of seven areas of learning which are divided into prime areas and specific areas.
All 3 to 4-year-olds in England receive 570 hours of free early education or childcare per year. This equals 15 hours over 38 weeks per year over the three terms or alternatively, 11 hours per week over the full year. The following dates show which term your child will be eligible for Free Early Education Entitlement.

Balfour nursery is excellent. I cannot rate them highly enough. My daughter has very complex medical condition requiring a lot of extra care. Dawn, Harvinda and the whole team went the extra mile for my little princess. I remember they organised an out of hours training session for ALL the staff so the they could all be aware of what to do with my daughter.
I was so reassured. I am sure without Balfour and their meticulousness with Oumy, I would not manage to keep a full time job.

My all 3 kids went to this nursery and I was always happy with the way the staff to care of them. They were always so supportive and encouraging my kids to develop their learning skills. Particularly toward moving to reception in primary school. I would highly recommend Balfour Nursery which is good for working parents especially very close to the Ilford train station.

I would like to spend few minutes to write about this nursery which will be very less time but this nursery is very special for me ...I have my little soul who is just 6 months old , but situation arises to start my career back so I cried literally and searched many playgroups, child minders to take care of my little ones but it really never satisfied my heart ...finally I prayed god before the day I need to go to work, believe it or not some unknown person carrying 2 kids returning back from her office was opposite to me , I don’t know her I just asked where did u place ur kids, her response

Outstanding nursery cannot fault on any aspect. Both my children attended and although I briefly moved one to a closer nursery, returned within a month as the new nursery simply did not match Balfour standards on any front. It is a very homely setting, not too overwhelming allowing children to relate and settle in quickly.
I believe communication is key in any establishment your child enters and willingness to listen and work through any concerns parents may raise . Staff at Balfour have time and time again exceeded my expectations on this, as not only their classroom staff are happy to listen

Terrible racist school. Please take a little time to read below won't harm you. I have called this school on number of occasions regarding my son admission but every single time they take our details over the phone and say booking confirmation will be sent via email n matter of regret that they never sent an email n neither contact and waste time. When you call them they say ohh we are outside of school and email will be sent as soon as they reach school. ..now the question is what kind of school is it they receive the call from outside of the school and even your children get admitted n in case
