Countisbury Lodge is a delightful former Victorian vicarage full of charm and character and in one of the sunniest spots above Lynmouth. Situated high on a secluded and peaceful wooded hillside, with its own parking and magnificent views over the East Lyn River, and picturesque village of Lynmouth and its harbour.

Countisbury Lodge offers Room Only accommodation plus two self-catering properties. If you're looking for a personal touch with peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Two self catering properties are also available - "Treetops Cottage" sleeps 3 and "Seaview Apartment" sleeps 2, both ideal for a couple or small family.

We stayed for 3 nights in the main house in a large, modern, clean , sunny room. Modern facilities which included a Nespresso Machine (pods provided) free WiFi(which was very good), modern bathroom, hair dryer,… fridge iron and ironing board. Very large bed was comfortable with no expense spared on the fittings.. Stuart and Jane thankfully provided advice on the best walks, I wanted to do Julia Bradbury watersmeet walk, Janes advice which direction was greatly appreciated. My advice, take comfortable walking shoes!, Lynmouth and Lynton are very pretty, but remember it’s hilly! Again

Fantastic place to rest and recharge,only a 5 min walk to Lynmouth beachfront but beautifully hidden amongst the trees,with spectacular views across the Lyn valley.Sue does her utmost to make your stay special.

Amazing place with very nice views. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Another big plus is that if you go to town for dinner and have dessert, on your way back you will burn all those extra calories :)

Beautiful place at the top of the hill with amazing views. Susan, the owner, was great host. Delicious English breakfast, great location and nice views. I'd recommend staying here and hope to come back in the future.
