Yoga4wellbeing provides small Yoga classes in community venues in South Norwich and the surrounding villages. I am passionate about bringing Yoga to all ages and athletic abilities. The most common reason I hear for not going to a class is, "I am so stiff and inflexible I couldn't possibily do yoga!".
Well my response is always the same, Yoga isn't about touching your toes or performing complicated movements. The essence of Yoga is to be completely in the present moment, listening to your breath and just feeling. You can do that without the need for having open hamstrings or standing on your head!

Yoga4wellbeing was born from a hobby 20 years ago and has now become my job! I am passionate about enabling people to develop and grow through the practice of the ancient art of yoga. My philosophy is simple. I tailor my classes to individuals whatever their age or health/body limitations. I take my teaching out into community venues so you won't find flashy studios or excessive heat, just your mat, lots of yoga and hopefully fun!
I have been attending Caroline's yoga classes for over 7 years. She is brilliant. She has a good knowledge of anatomy and knows each individual in the class and is very mindful of any problems or injuries we have. I had tried other yoga classes for a term of two in the past but then dropped out. Yoga4wellbeing is different.
The Yoga tradition dates back over 5,000 years and survives today as a dynamic system which promotes the health and wellbeing of mind and body. There are various yoga paths but for many people it is the regular practice of physical postures (asana) and breathing techniques (pranayama) that can produce the most profound changes in physical health and mental wellbeing.
I feel very lucky to be fit and healthy. Many people are not so lucky. I have been privileged to work with many clients who have recovered or are still battling cancer. On a much more personal level I lost my Dad to breast cancer a few years ago and know first hand how hard that fight is not just for the person themselves but for their loved ones.
In response to this and because of my own personal office experience I decided to start my Corporate Yoga programme. I have been teaching two classes a week within the Corporate environment for over 4 years now. Rather than employees leaving the office to go to the gym, I go to them! We have been given the use of a conference room and the employees have been given dedicated time to attend class.
