Age-old esoteric knowledge and practices are presented in an easy-to-digest, clear and concise way, which is very well suited to the western mind. A gram of practice is worth a ton of theory, and we won't pander too much to our questioning minds, preferring to test these theories with careful examination of the effects that each technique has upon us.
Regular lectures introduce principles of yogic theory to support the practice, and each class will draw out one aspect to focus upon. Our teachers include Paramahamsa Prajnanananda and Swami Shankarananda Giri from the the Kriya Yoga Tradition, Hridaya's Sahajananda, and Agama's Swami Vivekananda Saraswati.

Based on the teaching of Ramana Maharishi, Hridaya is a system of contemplative meditation, based in the heart. In general, the awareness of the chest area is a simple, direct, basic practice. It is an important element in Sufism, Christianity, and Judaism.
Similar statements about the existence of this spiritual "portal" can be found in such epic Indian texts as the Sita Upanishad, Maha Narayana Upanishad, and Ashtanga Hridaya (an Ayurvedic text which identifies it as the "Ojasa Stana, " or "self-luminous consciousness").Thus, the teaching about the Spiritual Heart's location in the body did not originate with Ramana himself.

I began my Yoga studies in my native Poland in 1998, first with the Sivananda and Iyengar models. However, having found no satisfactory instructors in my homeland, I left for India to seek genuine teachings. I stayed in several ashrams, and was touched by the spiritual depths of Yoga, amazed at its coherence and practicality.
