The Day Nursery
We pride ourselves on offering the best start in Early Years for all of our children, looking at the latest and innovative ways to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to our attending children. At The Day Nursery we have 5 individual rooms within the nursery, catering from ages 3 month - 5 Years.

Our nursery is equipped with age appropriate resources throughout, with a garden area and Sensory Room for all of the children to enjoy. Fees include the cost of all meals, except for Baby milk formula, which you will need to provide. The Day Nursery is situated in the centre of Peterborough (within a very short walking distance of the Train Station, Bus & Coach Stations & the Queensgate Shopping Centre).
Services
As we feel that this is very important for the children's development, all of the following classes are free to the parent, with nursery paying the cost. Our external teacher has over 30 years teaching experience within the Dance and Fitness industry and more recently Yoga. She is qualified to teach yoga from one years of age right through to teenagers and adults.
We have successfully been awarded 'Millie's Mark', a Quality Mark for nurseries where all staff working directly with children are trained in paediatric first aid. This has been awarded by the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) in association with Department for Education and Millie's Trust.
On our entrance we have a biometric fingerprint door access. Only parents who are registered on the system can gain entry to the nursery using this system. We have Nurserycam cameras throughout nursery. The parental Webcam gives parents the opportunity to 'drop in' via the internet at any time which parents find reassuring.
This is a modern-day approach that fits perfectly in current changing technological times. Bringing curiosity, awe and wonder into early childhood & creating the 'thinkers & doers' of the future. Authentic natural resources, which offers the children opportunities for creativity and imagination.

Loose parts, these are items that can be used in various ways and have no pre designed outcome, allowing the children to be creative, critical thinkers and problem solvers. If you step into a Curiosity Approach setting, you won't find bright coloured walls and hundreds of shiny plastic toys. Instead, you'll see wooden materials, natural resources, and neutral backgrounds that allow the colour to shine.
The promotion of fundamental British values will be reflected in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and exemplified in an age-appropriate way through practice guidance. British values are about promoting a tolerant, demographic society where freedom of speech lives comfortable alongside respect for all.
