Little Owls Day Nursery is based in the Farmhouse on Wessex Close, near Tenter Hill in Stanground. We are based in the former Thistle Drive Playscheme. We provide a high standard of care and education for children aged from birth to 5 years. We are passionate about childcare and believe in giving the children the best possible education to set them up for later in life.

A terrible nursery that does not care about the children. My sons development suffered from this nursery. They were easy to pick out my sons needs but couldn't give the support he needed.
Way to often my son was sent home for being "ill" - we fully understand nursery rules but we had a whole month were they sent him home every time we took him. They took the money and supplied a terrible service (no service).
I would never recommend this nursery to anyone. Ofsted will be notified will my full complaint and worries.

My now-toddler has been attending the nursery for almost a year now and while I came to the nursery with reserves about its setting or size, I can truly see the staff goes well and beyond to look after the kid. I was scared of my baby’s tears but he literally adjusted within a couple of days and has since always been very happy to see his friends and the toys. He even calls it the Friends’ house.
I love the app to follow progress in development or to keep an eye on nap/feeding. And to see photos of him at the nursery.

I cannot praise this nursery enough! My daughter has recently transfered to Little Owls after 2 years at another nursery. I was drawn to the other nursery because of their 'outstanding' ofsted reports! What I have since realised is that SOMETIMES these ofted reports don't listen to children's happiness, and the dedication, passion and love that smaller indepedant nurseries offer our children.
I was happy moving my daughter to Little Owls wrongfully thinking her educational needs may be sacrificed for simply a happy place for her to just be a secure toddler to play and make friends. In fact, what

This nursery doesn’t deserve even one star. I had my little ones there for a year or so and we got the worst treatment ever as a black family. The owner said i was late one minute even though i was there on the minute and they have to come down to open the door. Her actions were premeditated because she handed me a late fee letter just as i picked my little one. I went back the next day to have a word and she kept making up different lies which her own staff later refuted. She ended up terminating the contract without notice a few hours after I confronted her. Left me struggling to get another

Amazing nursery! my daughter has come on in leaps and bounds since starting here - she has grown in confidence which is so lovely to see.
the staff are supportive and friendly. everyday my daughter does something new ranging from sensory play to being outside.

My 3 year old boy loves Little Owls. I chose it because my 5 year went there and she loved it too.
They both settled really well and got to love it really quickly. It was the first time my 3 year old had been away from me really and I was worried but knew the staff and knew they would make him welcome. Within about 3 weeks he was starting to settle really well and even talked about it in the morning before we went each day!
Now he even asks to go on his days off!
Can’t prasie the staff highly enough and they all seem to know him and his little ways really well!
I feel really happy leaving

Amazing staff members with a fantastic setting! My little boy has been with this nursery for 2 years now and I wouldn't consider anyone else! My little boy is always excited to go to nursery and see his friends as well as spending time with the staff- which to me confirms that you are brilliant! Highly recommended!

My little girl loves Little Owls Day Nursery and simply adores the staff there! In the year that she’s been attending her confidence has soared, we’ve mastered potty training and many more development milestones, all of which came with total support from the team there. I really can’t recommend them enough!!
