We are a small team here at Boutique Alterations and each of us hold an abundance of experience in the Bridal Alterations & Dressmaking field. We have worked together as a team for many years now and find to be more a sewing family then work colleagues. We all have a strong passion for this industry and love to help our many Brides and mums with their cherished gowns.
Chic by Tusneem brings you a unique collection of Mother of the Bride and Groom dresses and occasion wear. This is a made to order collection designed especially for Mother of the Brides & Grooms. All of our Mother of the Bride & Groom dresses and occasion wear designs are available in a diverse range of fabrics, colours, textures and embellishments.
At Boutique Alterations we specialise in Bridal, Bridal party dresses and Mother of the Bride and Groom Alterations. We work closely with all our clients to understand your requirements on any amendments you wish to make to your gown. Our service includes high quality General Alterations, Bespoke Alterations and we can also help to customise any parts of your gown your maybe unsure about.
We specialise in breathing new life into gowns. If you have purchased a gown and maybe fallen out of love with part or even all of it, why not come and talk to us about customising your gown. This method of Alterations is called 'Re-designing', whether you wish to make a small or big change, these changes will make all the difference to your gown becoming the dress of your dreams.
These are alterations such as, fit of the gown, length, hooking up your train for the evening and any adjustments to straps, shoulders and sleeves. Once you have a delivery date from your bridal shop, please contact us so we can arrange your fittings. We will book you in for approx. 10-12 weeks before your date of wedding for general alterations & allow more time if you are either having extra bespoke alterations or any customizing done.

Tusneem & the team at Boutique Alterations were amazing! I got my dress from a boutique in Clitheroe but live in Manchester so I wanted a seamstress close to home. Boutique Alterations was recommended to me… twice and I can so see why.
Tusneem made me feel so comfortable and relaxed even when I had a bit of a wobble about how I would look on my wedding day. She knew exactly what to do to alleviate my worries and I felt so much better!

I bought my wedding dress in a sample sale and thought it was the one and I had all these ideas of how I wanted it to look. I quickly became disheartened after going to a couple of alterations and completely fell out of love with it. I was recommended Tusneem at Boutique Alterations and from the very first time I went into the shop and met Tusneem I knew I was in safe hands. Tusneem knew instantly bits of the dress that needed changing and she listened to everything I wanted, by the end of it my dress was completely customised to something I've always dreamed of and what I thought wasn't possible

Boutique Alterations were reccomeded to me by Maria Modes bridal shop. Unfortunately, my experience was absolutely horrendous. On my first appointment I was charged £320 upfront, I thought it was a bit strange to be charged… upfront before any work had been carried out, but thought that as they had been recommended I would be in safe hands. Such an amazing experience. Came for my bridal fittings and alterations and every time Tusneem was so supportive, knowledgable and professional. Excellent advice and a lovely, lovely experience. Unfortunetly we have been forced to write this review in reply to a bad review written by a bitter bride. we are a company who deal with over 650 happy brides a year and i think it is very unfair to write a review about us that is wrong and very untrue.
This bride came to us asking us to do a very simple alteration (only a few weeks before her wedding) knowing how busy we were so we booked her in based on a very quick alteration, when she came it was a very BIG alteration and instead of rushing her dress and doing a half hearted job (which we would never consider) we asked her kindly to look for

1st Class Service. The woman who served me (sorry I can't remember her name) was so patient with me as I was so un-organised! I just popped in without an appointment with my bridesmaid dress that was far too big and I needed it ready in a week. Luckily she had a few minutes to see me there and then! I picked up the day before the wedding and couldn't get the zip to work (my fault as I had got a bit chubbier I think!)
