We are honoured to have been chosen as the exclusive caterer for this stunning venue. Colshaw Hall is an idyllic country manor estate. It is as special and unique as your perfect day, elaborate event or party. The elegant Tudor style manor house is Grade II listed and is set in magnificent grounds in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
To book and appointment / tasting please contact our office and our team will be delighted to help, we will arrange this to suit you at a time that is convenient, this would usually mean coming to see us at our meeting suites in Stockport. Weekend appointments are available but these are subject to availability.
Working alongside our Head Chef, your role will involve day to day food preparation in our production kitchen. We will also require you to travel to venues to work closely with our events team to deliver functions and weddings, each one bespoke, to an exceptional standard. Work effectively with the front of house team to ensure delivery of events, excellent customer experience and satisfaction.

Berretts were our caterers for our wedding at Colshaw Hall, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of food and service that we received. The menu choices were out of this world, and the tasting day helped the whole wedding party decide on the best food for the day. On the day itself, all Barretts staff were attentive and friendly, and all guests commented on how good the food was. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The food was really hot and delicious . The evening food was just as delicious . The only thing I would suggest is not put sauce on the evening food have it available for people to put in themselves . The food was fantastic and would really recommend Barrett’s for the service quality and the staff were brilliant as well .

We were suppose to get married on the 3rd April 2020 and Barretts were supplying the food for our big day. Due to the pandemic our wedding could not go ahead and we were unable to obtain a new date with our venue.
We paid a £1000 deposit to Barretts. We attended a taster day at the value of £100 which is the only service we had from Barretts, so taking this in to account we thought £900 would be acceptable as a refund.
When it came to contacting Barretts to say our wedding had been cancelled we were then told we would not be receiving any refund. We were told that due to us changing the date

Heartbroken! We were due to get married on 31st May and had paid £1000 deposit as requested. Unfortunately this had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. So rebooked again for 2021. But given the current state of affairs this will not be able to go ahead either. But Barretts refused any refund claiming it was for the tasting menu (in a shack) and “admin costs”. They even refused for this to be able to be used for any future event. Given that they will have had a hospitality grant this just shows how greedy and money grabbing the wedding industry has become. I would avoid.

Barretts were our caterers and we had the most brilliant day. We had a marquee at home and we were a little bit stressed with it all at the beginning but Matthew made us feel so comfortable and relaxed through the whole process. The day (and the food) was so incredible.

A year later was our wedding and the food was just as good. Quite a feat when they're feeding 70 people.
