Services
Our garden centre is a labyrinth of lush greenery, sweet smelling florets, and beautiful buds. We're a growing garden centre, so a lot of the plants you can buy are grown by us right here in Newquay, Cornwall. We have everything from seeds, potted herbs and tomato plants, through to pretty pansies, stunning maples, hardy palms and sweeping rows of fresh scented lavender.
We stock an array of garden products here at Newquay Garden Centre, so you'll never be short on choice. We offer bird feeders to lure in the local wildlife, garden accessories to perfect your space, and other necessities such as compost and bark, fertiliser, pots and baskets, seeds and bulbs, and weed and pest products.
Encouraging wildlife into your garden not only helps to ensure the survival of the UK's diverse ranges of birds, bugs and mammals but also take care of pollination and pest predation. This can be fairly easy to accomplish even by novice gardeners and we stock a number of products to help you with this.
Ericaceous Compost - is designed for plants that require an acid soil (lime free soil) in order for them to grow successfully. Plants such as Azalea, Pieris, Rhododendron and Camellia require ericaceous soil. Top Soil - is a soil based loam that is helpful in raising soil levels in the garden, seeding a new lawn or just patching in a lawn.
Fertilisers come in many different forms, liquid, pelleted, crystalline or powder. Each will have their own nutrient balance that is specifically tailored to provide a particular feed balance. Generally there are two types of fertilisers: straight or compound. The straight fertilisers are single substance fertilisers such as Sulphate of iron, Sulphate of Ammonia or Epsom Salts.

We started in the cafe which was a little crowded (it was bang on lunchtime) but the staff were working quickly to reduce the queue. Once seated the service was excellent, as was the food. Everybody had something different and all plates were cleared.
Following lunch we had a look around the well stocked and reasonably priced garden centre. Loads of great condition stock - well worth a visit.
