Peterhead Golf Club
Set among the dunes and across the Craigewan links the course is a classic example of Scottish seaside golf at it's best - and the toughest! Peterhead Golf Club was established in 1841. A second 18 hole course was established in 1923, however today it exists as a 9 hole course, appropriately named the "New Course".
Services
A warm welcome to Peterhead Golf Club, set in the idyllic surroundings of Craigewan Links, the 18th oldest golf club in the world. With the establishment of Peterhead Golf Club in 1841 the clubs history is amongst the elite of Scotland. The 'Old Course' was extended to 18 holes in 1908 and a second 18 hole course, the 'New Course' was established in 1923.
The clubhouse bar area at Peterhead Golf Club's Craigewan Links is managed by Ailsa Wilson, and her staff. Be assured that on arrival at the Craigewan Links you will be made extremely welcome, and following your round, Ailsa and her staff will, if necessary, provide the ever welcome sympathetic ear.

Booked online easily enough for an afternoon round at this course. Arrived and the staff were brilliant, first time i had played the course so they gave me much needed information. On to the course and it was pristine and stunning, a beautiful course with stunning views over the sea . A proper test to keep the ball on the fairway as golf should be, cannot wait to play this course again.

Some beautiful holes in the dunes but otherwise ordinary. Very tricky in a strong wind.

Played the winter course today, great fun in the sun.
Well worth a visit, more tourists should make the short journey after a game at Cruden Bay and play here.
Great service and hospitality, lovely cheeseburger and fries for under a fiver.
Machine coffee, but very tasty!
Thanks Peterhead!

Jim and I arrived to find Pro shop closed and no catering available. Was so looking forward to that bacon roll!Lady staff member had no access to shop so we couldn't hire a trolley.Oops!Hired an electric buggy instead at members rate.Would only give course 3 out of 5.Not in great condition!Green fee excessive at £65.Why so expensive .Playing Fraserburgh tomorrow at only £35!To cap it all the buggy ran out of power on the 18th and Jim had to push it part of the way to the car park. All in all not a great visitor experience, come on Peterhead get your act together!Brian Johnston
