After serving his apprenticeship and a further 5 years at Haynes of Maidstone, John spent 2.5 years at H & K Medway, another Ford main dealer, before starting his own mobile mechanic business in 1991. After 8 years 'on the road', John had the opportunity to take over Leybourne MOT Centre in London Road, Leybourne, taking on one employee.

We offer MOT tests (Class IV), and a three tier servicing range: Basic, As Necessary and Full.
He's looked after several cars for my family, including my precious old Morris Traveller, as well as modern 'Euroboxes', new and second hand. His work and approach are excellent. John is much more than a good spanner man. He is careful, intelligent, completely reliable, always helpful, courteous and a superb mechanic who never does less than a really good job.
Insurance: Our Courtesy Car is covered by our fully comprehensive insurance provided you are aged between 21 and 75 years with a full clean UK driving license. When borrowing our Courtesy Car you agree that you will be liable for the first 350 (the excess) of any claim and also for incidental damage such as scratches, punctures, interior damage, broken aerials etc.

The service and expertise received from these guys time and time again is way beyond many companies.
Every time i have a service or repair or just a check up on my car i know its been properly done.

Big thanks to John who understood the situation and need to get son’s car issue diagnosed. Managed to fit appointment in at short notice and, although unable to complete repair at garage, recommended another top team at Medway Transmissions who got car fixed and back on road in 48hrs. Would recommend this local garage for honest assessment and vehicle repairs, servicing.
