The clutch is a device for disconnecting and connecting rotating shafts. In a manual gearbox, the driver pushes down the clutch when changing gear to disconnect the engine from the gearbox. There are several parts in the clutch, that can become worn or jump, the discs can be worn, as well as a spring system either breaks or becomes slack.
When you brake, the brake discs that rotate with the wheels are gripped by brake pads, slowing the car down. Both discs and pads can become worn and corroded, so it's vital brakes are checked regularly for your safety. If the brakes aren't maintained regularly you won't be able to brake as efficiently.

One of our vans has been in and out of a local garage where they’ve carried out unnecessary work, failed to diagnose the issues and generally messed me around and cost me money. I did have to wait a few days as Darren was busy but he came out today, diagnosed the problem within minutes, and returned the same day to carry out the repair. The van is running perfectly again, no engine lights and it didn’t break the bank.
