A wedding can be grand and formal or small and simple. It's up to you. Tie the knot within the Fort's mighty walls or there's the Summerhouse surrounded by the ocean. Totally your call: from the flowers to the traditional or themed wedding. In whatever direction you want to go, it's your choice, and our team are there to inspire and help you along the way.
Granite staircases spiral towards huge vaulted ceilings and rows of windows face out to sea. If you want a unique or unusual wedding, this is 'the one'. You've found 'the one' partner, it seems right to find 'the one' wedding venue that's your perfect match too. But traipsing between hotels, on the hunt for a unique wedding venue, you can start to glaze over.
Room for 16 nearest & dearest (in luxury Vi-Spring beds) to stay with you as part of your exclusive hire, with the ability to accommodate a further 8. It's a '3 up, 5 down' kind of affair, with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and 5 on the lower floor. All of them with direct sea facing views. The fort sleeps 16 with the ability to accommodate an extra 8 people.

Great place for a wedding, lovely scenery, setting, and beautifully decorated.
The acoustics made it difficult to hear the registrar, and we couldn't hear the vows at all, so microphones would be a good addition, the toilet cubicles were also really difficult to get in and out of as they were tiny. But, a gorgeous setting, and I one I'd highly recommended.
