The Woolwell Centre is situated at the heart of Woolwell to the north of Plymouth. The aim of the Centre is to encourage local people of all ages to get involved and participate in a range of activities and exciting events. The Centre strives to support both businesses and individuals together.
By encouraging sponsorship, voluntary work and many activities to the Centre, the aim is to enhance the lives of the local community of Woolwell and the surrounding areas.The Centre was built for the benefit of the local residents in Woolwell and the surrounding areas and is a large and impressive building set in it's own grounds.

Services
This 10m x 8m room is complete with linoleum floor, ballet bar and a full length feature mirrored wall. The Woolwell Centre is available to hire in its entirety for your event at very competitive rates. The Roborough Suite is 10m x 9m at the very front of the building. It is suitable for training, conferences, meetings, displays or parties. It can accomodate around 60 people in theatre style but can also be set up as boardroom or training styles. Our recently refurbished bar is the perfect choice for a social gathering or event. The well stocked bar includes draught lagers and ciders at competitive rates and our wide range of spirits and non-alcoholic drinks will suit all palates. They have various activities on but you need to check when and what's on The cafe is now open 10 till 4 Monday to Friday.
There is a playground near so it is great to take kids for a meal or a snack. Good place for locals to go for a coffee. The staff were very welcoming. I understand they have a morning where people with memory loss can go and enjoy a coffee in comfortable surroundings. Well done Woolwell Centre ☺
