His Geolog fire was the first gas fire designed for modern interiors. I don't like giving negative reviews, but I was extremely unhappy about how the work was carried out and how things were handled.
I was looking to replace a wood-burner stove with an open gas fire. I was very happy with the design Platonic came up with, compared to other companies I had talked to, and based on many positive reviews I had seen, I was happy to go ahead.
All the payments (except for labour) went through Platonic, but they appointed LCM Fires Ltd to carry out the work.
Some of the work carried out was fine. They created a raised piece of granite to hold the fire that looked good
