Ashley Cooke Carpets and Furniture began six years ago in a small second-hand furniture shop selling only carpet. Ashley himself started the business having already been in the flooring industry for eight years and saw potential for better service at more affordable prices. He made the jump in to retail, offering a modern, fresh looking shop with a huge amount of choice.
After the first twelve months in business, the shop expanded and due to customer demand it wasn't long before it took up residence at 20 Castlegate in Malton. Ashley Cooke's prices were already competing with the big, out-of-town retail shops. But it was clear that giving customers a friendly face-to-face service gave Ashley the edge.

Great service all round! James at the shop was very helpful and knowledgeable. We weren’t 100% certain of what we needed and were expertly guided by him.
The fitters have just fitted our stair runner and carpet and we are delighted! They arrived on time, did a great job and left everywhere tidy. We are carpeting the house in stages so will be back. Highly recommend their service.
