We will provide the structure in which your child can develop to their true potential.
Hello and welcome to Best Friends Childcare Centre Ltd website. I am the proprietor at Best Friends Childcare and we have a sister nursery at Samuel Ryder Academy. I have 22 years experience at all levels with the last 16 years being in a management role. I am self-motivated and a positive individual, who can either work on my own or within a team.
We have a wide range of toys for our under 2's following the children's routine from home to nursery providing our home-from-home environment. Our baby room is brightly coloured having murals on the walls to stimulate the young babies. Everything in the baby room is brightly coloured so it is appealing.
In our Lions's room the children are aged from 2 years - 5 years. In this area we have a capacity for 15 children and 3 staff members. The children's day is a little more structured. We do separate the children into age and ability groups and each group is allocated a key worker. We separate them into age groups of 2-2.5 years, 2.5 - 3.5 years and 3.5 - 5 years.
At Best friends Childcare we actively encourage children to use the outdoor space we have. Being outside in the garden has many benefits, not only does it encourage children to physically exercise but it is also a place where they can learn to play appropriately. We encourage children to widen there fine and gross motor skills whilst outdoors as well as learning how to respect the environment.
