The nursery provides outstanding facilities for children aged from 3 months through to pre-school age, and we have 4 dedicated nursery areas for 4 different age ranges. Each room has been carefully designed to create a safe and secure homely environment for your child. Services
Babies are located upstairs in the nursery. The Baby room is split into two rooms which provide different stimulating activities to explore and to promote all their stages of development. The children can get involved with dressing up, role play, arts and crafts, books and story telling, singing and music time and lots of floor activities.
Our aim at all times is to provide a caring environment that inspires children to learn, become independent, be creative and develop social skills. We know toddlers are full of beans and like to be into everything, so at Birdies we like to think outside the box in terms of creative play and think the best thing is to get stuck in and be brave and messy!
Children learn a great deal through play and activities and in our pre and after School Unit they certainly have every opportunity to do so. We take extra care with our group activities so every child gets their time and their say and its the best way to learn teamwork skills and make friends to set them up for life!
At Birdies we are not afraid of mess! We believe that getting stuck in and having free reign in creativity is a developmental must! From large scale foot painting as a form of art therapy to getting our hands 'caked' in baking dough or pumpkin guts. We have all those clean carpet fearing experiences covered, so you dont have to worry about them missing out!
At Birdies we are always on the look out for the perfect personalities to expand our team!. Do you suffer from any medical condition which may impact your suitability for a role in childcare. Please bear in mind it can be, at times, a very physically demanding role. Please note that further application processes require Doctor Health form completion and declaration of any prescription medication.
