The idea of Peartree Barn was borne of our own experience as parents. There was a contrast between what provision was on offer in the community and what we wanted our children to experience when interacting with the Daycare sector.
Recognising not everyone has the benefit of access to an extended family circle to share in the responsibility of nurturing young children as they prepare for Pre-School or Primary School education, we seek to provide not just the minimum standards of childcare but offer our Nursery as extended family.

Services
Our staff are enthusiastic and motivated to empower and encourage our children to be their best selves by striving to keep our training relevant and up-to-date. The Peartree Barn team offers a wide range of qualifications, skills and job experience. Our staff have had relevant Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid and Plan, Play Observe training.
We offer child-focused care for children from 3 months to 12 years. Our unrivalled space within our rural location offers a relaxed and family orientated experience. The availability of play space means our children have unparalleled access to wide-open spaces to discover nature at their own pace. Large astro turfed areas and an orchard allow us to spend time outdoors in all weathers exploring, enjoying and learning from nature.
As a family we have had the privilege of travelling to under-developed countries in various parts of the world which has offered a life changing perspective on life here. Exposure to different cultures and lifestyles ultimately has shaped our outlook. Peartree Barn Nursery believes that the food we provide should be of the highest quality, healthy and nutritious for the growing boys and girls in our care.

Peartree Barn Nursery believes that the food we provide should be of the highest quality, healthy and nutritious for the growing boys and girls in our care. Our friends from Drumhill Farm provide our fruit and vegetables direct to the Nursery each week ensuring freshness is guaranteed.
We encourage independence and peer-learning through communal lunches and snack times with wholesome 'home-cooked' lunches made in our Nursery kitchen as well as providing a healthy morning and afternoon snack.
