Pollyanna Preschool is an 'outstanding' setting within Lindford Church Hall, registered with Ofsted, offering high quality childcare and education for 2 year olds and upwards. We provide a safe, secure, happy, stimulating environment, helping all children to develop friendships with other children and adults as well as confidence and new skills required for their early years in school.
We offer an exciting, challenging and inquisitive environment, both indoors and outdoors. We plan your child's individual next steps with your support, encouraging them all the way. The manager and deputy have exceptional leadership skills. They are passionate about the provision and motivate the staff to deliver consistently high levels of care and teaching, that contribute towards the swift progress that children make in their development.

Services
We follow the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation stage (EYFS). We observe, assess and plan within the 7 areas of learning for the Early Years National Curriculum. In order to more thoroughly monitor your child's progress and observations we use an Online Early Learning digital Journal called eyLog which saves a lot of time for the staff to spend with the children.
Pollyanna would not be so successful if it wasn't for the resourceful, happy caring staff members. They are responsible for the safety and well being of our children and ensure that each day is filled with happiness and joy, adventure, challenges and successes. Our manager Reagan has a BA in Early Childhood Studies and 15 years' experience within Early Years.
The children are free to enjoy the resources on offer, inside and outside. The setting is split into areas: role play, craft, construction, ICT, pre-writing, maths, science, music and reading. We also have fun during our session with dancing, singing, action songs, and parachute. Our staff play an important part in your child's learning.
An invoice will be issued at the beginning of each term, for the weeks for that period, (usually 12 weeks). We offer the free 15 hours funding per week for 3 year olds and also the 2 year old funding for children who meet the required criteria. Please ask the manager for further details. We are registered with many companies that provide childcare vouchers as an alternative way to pay part of your fees.
Everything we want for children - chances to grow, learn, discover, inspire, laugh and love - relies on plenty of good fuel. We believe that getting children to enjoy healthy food from an early age is the way to help them eat well for the rest of their lives. Eating healthy food will give your child more energy to do the things they love for longer and helps with their concentration, vital for when they progress to school.
