Farndon Fields is a first generation family business founded by Kevin Stokes in 1983 when he ploughed the grass fields and planted the first potatoes at Farndon Fields Farm. The potatoes were sold from the farmhouse and soon the farm shop was born. Kevin and Milly have together grown the business and today it consists of a 550 acre farm and a large farm shop selling the farm's produce along with an extensive selection of local and British food.
Farming is at the heart of Farndon Fields. It's where we started (back in 1983), what the business has been built on through the years and what we love doing every day. The farm is made up of 550 acres of farmland in the beautiful rolling Leicestershire and Northamptonshire countryside. On our farm, we grow over 40 different varieties of potato, fruit and vegetables only meters away from our farm shop.
Spring is the start of the growing season and it's a hive of activity with the farm team busy planting fruit and vegetable crops. These are planted in succession with two week gaps between each crop so we can ensure when it comes to harvest time there will be a constant supply of ready-to-pick produce for the Farm Shop.
Our Summer starts when the strawberries turn red and the days start to get longer. The strawberry season starts in late May (weather depending!) and continues through the Summer until the end of September. We're always excited at Farndon Fields when we get to taste the first crop of our famous strawberries.
Autumn means harvest time! The farm team are as busy as ever trying to keep up with the fresh fruit and vegetables which are ripening every day. The farm shop will be bursting with nearly 30 different Farndon Fields grown varieties on its shelves at the height of harvest time. Mid-September and the potato harvest begins in earnest.

Quite small choice of their own grown products. Poorly stocked deli with wraps or sandwiches, as usually non left. And they changed their original coleslaw salad recipe to one with poor quality low fat mayo. Which makes flavour terrible. Also beware of onions and packed mushrooms, most of the times I been, there will be usually a lot of small flies. Other than that it is fine.

Ooh what a find! My first visit here, and it's only half an hour from where I live. A truly delightful farm shop, huge range of produce, and good prices.
Everything you need is here, from fruit and veg, to fresh meat, cakes, frozen goods, condiments, fresh milk, you name it, they've got it.
Would highly recommend

A lovely spot for some quality breakfast . The staff are incredibly helpful and the food impeccable. Attached to the cafe is a little farm shop with all sorts of fresh vegetables, poultry, bakery etc. There is inside and outside seating with plenty of spaces for buggies and fresh produce around; apple, pear and tomato plants amongst the seating area. Highly recommended.
Rationale of 4 stars Vs 5 - price. It's a bit on the steep side

NOT MUCH BETTER THAN A SPOONS BREAKFAST. This place used to have a great breakfast but now it is small and cheap, yet the price is still high. Beans are now cheap and from a can, sausages have been swapped for 3 tiny chipolatas and the toast doesn't even amount to a single slice of bread. Not to mention my orange juice came with mould in.

The restaurant is lovely. The staff are cheerful, helpful, quick and polite. The food is delicious, fresh and hot. They really do their best to accommodate all dietary needs. The shop has such a great variety of veg and fruit, it all just looks so delicious and fresh. Everywhere is so clean and hygienic. Well worth visiting.

Great shop with lots of quality ingredients and the kitchen with great food.
The only reason I gave this a 4 is that on arrival, restaurant/gazebo/outside dining was empty. We were told you have to book online.
after booking, 1:30 minutes waiting, no busier and we get in. Seemed to be a real shortage of staff for it being a Saturday.
I watched 30-40 customers turned away as they didn’t book, huge loss to the business, please review your walk in policy Farndon Fields as it’s a superb spot!
Great burgers BTW

First visit today, I believe it was Beth who served us, she was helpful and amusing at the same time, it was quite busy and loud, a large group of people were having an enjoyable time. Food was LOVELY, I had… the burger which certainly wasn’t your standard fare, and the passion fruit cheesecake. Prices are very reasonable, pleasantly surprised that for two of us we spent just £40, which is just right, not too little that you think you’re not paying enough, but not too much to put you off going again

Good produce market, you will find a good variety of goods, some of them will be imported from other countries, for example citrus coming from egypt 🇪🇬.
There is a fresh milk dispensing machine which was the best thing i found there.
You'll be able to get fish, beef, lamb and chicken and they have a good variety of cuts.
I have seen that they have a place for dining in, but that was not open i guess "because of covid" .
You'd pay extra there, thing are overpriced if you are comparing to supermarkets but the quality is a bit superior.
Enjoyed it.
They have enough parking there and that
