We are a traditional family-run mixed farm, with a farm shop and tearoom, retailing our own produce as well as local and British goods. Our shop offers the finest home-grown and home-made produce ranging from rare breed meat to cakes. We have won several awards including "Best Cream Tea" and a gold star rating for our fruit cake from the Guild of Fine Foods.
The Farmhouse Kitchen serves fresh, home cooked food until 3pm daily, including delicious cakes and main meals using our own and local produce.

Services
You can order via the website below or you can also email us (shop@manorfarmcatthorpe.co.uk) or phone 01788 869002 (email is easier for us!). Whether you order with us by email, phone or online, we will call you to take payment prior to collection and confirm your collection day and time too. Please note - we have hundreds more items available in our farm shop, so if you don't see something you need - do ask us for it!
The farm grows about 20 acres of potatoes, of which 10 acres are Wilja (white potato) and Desiree (red potato). These are sold in the shop and are excellent all round potatoes; but the red Desiree are better for Mash and the Wilja are better for chips. The remaining 10 acres are grown for the chips in the farmhouse kitchen and sometimes sold to local merchants who supply the chips shops locally.
At Manor Farm we believe in preserving the best of the past for the future. All our meat comes from rare breeds. No longer suited to modern day agriculture but within their genetics, they hold important properties for the future. For example, modern sheep have been bred to grow less wool as the demand has dropped.
Many of our staff are younger, so they haven't had the chance to have both jabs, so we are also taking this into consideration. See details below. We recommend booking a table - just call us on 01788 869002 option 101, but you can also just turn up! We will have a limited number of tables available, all with plenty of social distancing between them and screens will be up for extra protection.
The SWEET includes: a selection of sandwiches, slice of homemade traybake, a slice of homemade jam & buttercream sponge, a homemade biscoff truffle, and a homemade scone with jam and fresh whipped cream. The SAVOURY includes: a selection of sandwiches, a homemade cheese scone with caramelised onion chutney, a homemade sausage roll, scotch egg from Noni's (local producer) and sercombes pork pie.

Driving along M6 between Birmingham and home, my wife decided to search for somewhere for some food. We took the detour to Manor Farm and their Farmhouse Kitchen. It was busy and we had not booked but they found us a table for two. Currently they are doing Christmas lunches. Options for one, two or three courses. We went for two courses including roast turkey dinner. Served with roast potatoes, pigs in blanket, sprouts, carrots, red cabbage, stuffing and gravy. The desserts in the cabinet looked great but we were full. Really nice and friendly staff. Also worth a visit to the other shops on site

Stunning little campsite with relaxed large pitches and plenty of space for play. Gentle sloping field with hook up available. Click and collect breakfast from the farm shop was an added bonus. Beautiful countryside views in all directions. Conveniently placed for major transport links (A5/M1/M6) but feels a world away!

Nice little shop full of fresh locally produced vegetables. Have a restaurant within the shop, can't comment as we didn't used it. Bought some marrow, courgette, honey, potatoes and some vegan beers brewed by Samuel Smith of Tadcaster. Nice selection of pumpkins for Halloween. A couple of 🦃 running around. Nice place in general.
