Founded in 2013 by Charlie Fardon iOme exists and was established with the belief that everyone needs a friend and partner in fitness. Someone knowledgeable, empathetic and compassionate who has been specially selected and trained to map your path to great health; stay by your side throughout the journey and to help you make adjustments along the way.
Normally small group personal training can cost anything from 20 per person but we provide motivation, posture correction, general + sports nutrition support as well as guaranteed results for only 16.75 per session. For second to none personal training and without paying hundreds of pounds Body SMART has proven to be the best way to experience having your very own PT who's there to motivate you all the way to your goal.
Personal training with an iOme Trainer is a completely different experience to what you'd normally find in a mainstream gym. We don't put you on a treadmill or a cross trainer for an hour (because at our indoor garden's cross trainers and treadmills are banned!). We do however take a holistic approach to your fitness needs and go the extra mile in formulating a long-term plan that gets you the results you want.
Have you ever been to a fitness class where there are twenty plus people in one room? You feel like a sardine in a tin and you struggle to find space to move? The problem with large fitness classes is that the instructor has only got one pair of eyes. At iOme Fitness we run private classes at our studio in South Petherton or as a home visit with a maximum of four people.

I have a love of nature and all things home grown and I'm here to teach you how to make the most out of your body in order to reach your ultimate health and fitness goals. I'll teach you how to nourish your body in order to feel well and if you have an inch loss goal or would like to change your physique I'll show you a life long alternative to fad dieting.

I started personal training sessions with Charlie to aid my recovery following Covid-19. I decided professional help was required because I had had a good few months with very little exercise, and still had long-term Covid-19 effects including breathlessness.
I was expecting a collection of strength and cardio-vascular work, but Charlie’s also included a great deal on stability, balance and natural movement. We’ve worked muscles I never knew I had, and made sure I can move slowly or explosively. Before, I could run but never had the power to sprint - not any more!

Just incredible. Truly personalised approach. Charley really knows her stuff. I started with 1 to 1 sessions and have now started a small group exercise session twice a week. It’s fun and ideal if you want something different to the whole gym experience. Give it a try - you won’t be disappointed

Before starting body smart I was a bit sceptical about how much it could help me to reach my fitness goals. After completing my first 6 week course the results were pretty astounding. My body fat percentage has dropped significantly and my ongoing back pain has now completely gone. I have continued with body smart and have made more progress in the last few months than I have made in a decade of being a member at a normal gym. Charlie's knowledge of sports nutrition and exercise is extensive. She is very supportive and her sessions are always fun. Thanks Charlie!

I have been looking for an exercise class that would suit me, having stiff back and dodgy knees and tried the Pioga class. It was perfect ! A good workout with a chair for support and you can feel yourself stretching out a little more each week. Charlie is lovely and I would really recommend trying it !!

I would highly recommend Charlie at iOme Fitness as a personal trainer. She tailors the training sessions to your ability and goals. Each training session is unique and targets key areas of the body. She is motivational, inspiring and makes the sessions fun. Have been attending Body Smart class for a while now and love the energy of the classes. The variety of classes and non judgmental atmosphere is fantastic creating a really friendly approach to small group exercise! Charlie and Megan sure challenge you, but I emerged after the first course busting with fitness and feeling much stronger. A huge variety of different exercises/challenges, but always plenty of options to ensure one stays within one's own capabilities. I've surprised myself. But most of all, it's a good laugh, a great way to shake off a working day!
