Blyth Golf Club was Founded in 1905. We have occupied 3 different sites in that time. The first being a nine hole course on the links to the south of the town and golf was played there until circa.1914. The Club then moved to a 12 hole course, inland adjacent to Plessey Road (known as the Old Course) until 1976.

Absolutely fantastic course, greens are spot on for this time of the year fairways are a little erm patchy, but if you play preferred lay they are fine, all the players that I encountered were very polite and respectful. The pro shop seems well equipped and the practice green and chipping greens were in decent condition. All in all will definitely visiting again and may even pick up a membership next year!

Nice little course. Bit dry at the moment and the heat was stifling. Slow play yesterday but swings and roundabout's, it is summer after all. They've jigged the course about a bit since my last visit to build some houses and they should put a bus on for the distance between the 9th and 10th tee but all in all a pleasant experience

Played today as three ball with a tee off time of 12.15 so knew we needed to get a wriggle on. Met a member who was playing by himself and asked if he wanted to make a 4 ball. Whilst playing off winter tees the course was very well drained with plenty of roll on the fairways. Really enjoyable days golf at a very reasonable price and thanks to Dave for coaching us round the back 9. A true gent.
