We had breakfast here this morning and can’t rate it high enough. I had scrambled eggs with bacon on sourdough toast - the eggs were fluffy and light. My husband had the Scottish breakfast and he said it was one of the best he had tasted and on a par with what we have had in Edinburgh. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will certainly eat here again when back in Stonehaven.

Had a meal in the Captain's Table restaurant. Was given a window table without asking for it. The hot seafood sharing platter was superb - thankfully the third member of our party hadn't ordered a starter, so she helped us finish it! All three main meals outstanding, and the prawn enchiladas got a gold star. Very friendly, informative and efficient service. Hope we get the chance to go back.
