Really nice stay here. The hotel is clean, well organised and very nicely decorated. We used the pool and sauna and both were clean and lovely to use. The hotel is MUCH nicer on the inside than it is on the outside. Don't judge a book by its cover. My only criticism, and it is minor... We ordered a pizza from the restaurant and I'm 99% sure it was a frozen Chicago Town pizza that I buy from Asda for £2 with some extra peppers and bbq sauce on it. Nothing wrong with it and it was nice but it cost £14 so I was a little disappointed. But the rest of the meal was lovely and the restaurant staff are

Stayed two nights for an event. Room was fine apart from the gap in the window. Big bed and was comfy enough. Staff on desk were great, really friendly and helpful. Had dinner the first night, was good, maybe a bit over priced, but it’s a hotel… breakfast was decent.
Evening two, decided to go for a night cap. At 10pm all draft was off (cleaning the pipes, why do this with customers I don’t know) the only white wine choice was Chardonnay (all other wine was sold out because of the pandemic apparently…) last orders called at 10:15pm despite the advertised closing of 11pm. To top it off

I use this hotel frequently for two reasons.price is usually reasonable and plentiful parking. The last visit it was extremely busy and the restaurant was mobbed. Service was strained and the staff had fallen behind. Purely due to the fact they were understaffed.todays trip was the polar opposite. The hotel and restaurant was quiet. Thus a great experience. Whilst the rooms are good value the food, is medium priced. Drinks are very expensive and my restaurant bill rapidly offset the good value room price.

The Aberdeen Altens Hotel is a nice place to stay for a relaxing few days rest. If you like a substantial breakfast in the morning they have a great selection to choose from. At present Covid restrictions are in place so have a mask handy if you can wear 1. There are numerous things to visit and see locally and then the option of swimming pool of Jacuzzi, Steam room etc

Large modern hotel in nice condition which is getting to be a rarity. Quite large bedrooms and everything worked as it should. Lots of hot water with plenty of pressure. Breakfast was really good hot and plenty of serve yourself buffet. Staff were helpful and polite. Covid rules were being adhered to.

Absolutely superb stay. We had two rooms booked and although we arrived 2 hours before check in, one of the rooms was ready so we got in before the scheduled check in. The family double was huge with two double beds and one single, spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space.
The leisure facilities were top class, nice pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna and a well stocked gym too.
Dinner in the hotel was first class, breakfast was outstanding will everything on offer and the is even a brilliant escape room adventure in the basement.
A lovely stay and will be back ASAP.

Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant staff were friendly but poorly organised. The food was fine but not good enough for a 4 star hotel. There was no beauty therapist available and the pool was too busy but had no booking system.
I received a reply to the above review it only commented on the positive aspects and ignored the negative parts of my review. This is a really cynical way of dealing with reviews.
In the meantime another issue has emerged. On arrival at the hotel we registered a credit card so that we could charge to the room during our stay. We paid £50 and were told we'd get
