Throughout our careers, Emma and I have worked in a variety of both childcare and nursing roles. After having our own children we were aware of the lack of quality childcare within the area. We were determined to develop a nursery that could offer quality, flexibility and most importantly a caring nurturing environment for our little ones.
We at the Avenue Adventure Club pride ourselves in offering a caring, social environment for the children aged 5 to 12 years to relax and enjoy new experiences, and gain new friendships. We are extremely lucky to be situated in the heart of Savernake forest on a working dairy farm. All of which gives us a fantastic opportunity to get out and about, exploring our surroundings and getting stuck into nature!

Services
Although the lovely settings for our nurseries come in a close second, we feel that our biggest asset is our wonderful team of staff. They all combine with their individual skills and attributes to create a wonderful environment that both the staff and children enjoy being part of. We are always on the look-out for members of staff that could bring enthusiasm, fun and the necessary skills required to The Avenue Day Nursery.
A Childcare Voucher scheme can only be used as part of an employee benefit provided by an employer. Employees elect to take up to a maximum of 55 per week (243 per month) of their salary as Childcare Vouchers. The amount chosen does not attract Tax or National Insurance contributions. The amount of Tax and National Insurance contributions each parent will save with Childcare Vouchers depends on their current salary.
This is a very important stage as it helps your child get ready for school, as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes. From when your child is born up until the age of 5, their early years' experience should be happy, active, exciting, fun and secure; and support their development, care and learning needs.
At The Avenue, we pride ourselves in providing healthy home-cooked meals and snacks. We want our children to grow up healthy and strong. One of the most important things we can do is make sure our children eat a varied, balanced diet to meet their high energy and nutrient needs.
What they eat and drink during their early years can affect their health for many years to come, which is why it is so important for us as a nursery to provide the very best meals we can.All children are given the opportunity to try new things, eat well, develop their sense of taste and learn about food that will set foundations for their future health.

Within all of our nurseries, we believe that we need to value and celebrate the diversity within our communities. We aim to develop good practice and have positive attitudes within the nursery environment by promoting staff to be positive role models for the children in our care. We believe that everyone, including adults should have equal opportunities to learn, develop and grow with dignity and mutual respect.
