Sunflowers at Grafton is a registered charity and is a community run, not for profit childcare offering set in beautiful natural surroundings. We are lucky to benefit from the use of the former East Grafton Primary School Building and grounds. Sunflowers offers 3 fabulous light and airy Nursery rooms catering for children from three months until school age.

Services
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) system to give you peace of mind that your child will be encouraged to fulfil their potential. Your child can start with us from birth and they will move through our rooms at appropriate ages and experience the Sunflowers journey. Each child has a dedicated key worker who will ensure your child's learning develops at the right pace.
Sunflowers was established by a group of local parents concerned by the lack of childcare and community provision in the Parish. The organisation has now developed to be run as a registered charity by Trustees with support from parents, local community members and the Grafton Parish Council through a Steering Group.
Our Sunshine room is a stimulating, bright and imaginative space to help your child explore and develop with the care and support your child needs when first away from home. Sunshine provides lots of rich opportunities for babies to stimulate their active minds.
Our spacious room offers a wide variety and range of carefully selected resources and furnishings to allow choice and independence and also space to crawl, roll and walk in a gentle unhurried manner.Our sensory area is visually stimulating, maximising their curiosity and allows them to explore, play imaginatively and experiment using different materials.

As your child develops, Meadow will help encourage and stimulate them in a fun yet safe way. The children will get to enjoy our fantastic garden and adventure play area whenever possible as well as benefiting from spending time with our animals. In Meadow, we create a calm, relaxing yet more structured environment to help the children thrive as they play.
Our Pre-school room is a fantastic creative learning environment that will ensure your child is fully prepared for their first year at Primary School. We provide a caring, educational and fun approach to the pre-school foundation learning program. Your child will be encouraged by our staff to develop to the best of their ability in all areas of learning before starting school.
