Even more people in Hampshire are now taking up this offer - simply ring your GP and ask for your health check. It costs nothing and is easy to arrange. The receptionist will explain more. Once you have had a NHS Health Check we would be grateful if you would complete this short survey. Our practice is inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure we are meeting essential standards of quality and safety.

This widget provides a summary of the results of the latest checks carried out by the CQC. The practice would like to thank the various advertisers who have helped to produce this Website. Services
GP practices in this area are making it easier for you to make appointments at times which suit you. We are part of a new scheme that allows you to make appointments from 6.30pm-10pm on week days, from 8am to 4.30pm on Saturdays, and on Sunday mornings. If you do need to see someone, we can offer you an appointment at your local 'hub' location.
Requests to change allocated GP are not necessary as all patients have access to all clinicians. We have two secretaries who deal with all referrals by the doctors, requests for home visits, requests for medical reports and supplying invoices for non-NHS work. Our reception supervisors are responsible for the day to day running of the reception and are available for advice.
A midwife will contact you when you are approximately 9 weeks pregnant to arrange to complete your booking notes. If the neonatal check is not carried out in hospital prior to discharge, the doctors will visit to undertake neonatal checks within 72 hours of babies being delivered.

On receipt of your reminder from the Child Health Service, please telephone and make an appointment in this clinic at the surgery for the immunisation of babies or for pre-school boosters. The doctors have the necessary skills and experience to carry out minor surgery operations within the practice.
This will make it easier for everyone to know when their review is due. It will also make our system more efficient and make better use of the appointments available. This new system may mean that you will be invited either sooner or later than you would have expected based on when you had your last review, but this will settle down after the first year.
The CQC also handles complaints from people (or their representatives) whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act. Even though they cannot look into complaints about health care or social care services, they would like to hear from you if you were not happy about the care you received.

After having my first vaccine elsewhere I was a little put off my second due to the impersonal rushed nature; but the village pharmacy in Stubbington were amazing. The man on the door was lovely and welcoming and the man doing the vaccinations was gentle and reassuring putting everyone at ease whilst also being efficient and quick. Such an amazing team that should be recognised for their good work. Thank you :-)

Awful service, useless staff, very obtuse, no care, surprised this surgery stays afloat. No one is actually interested or bothered & it's the constant C19 fob off.

Over the past 30 years of using this Doctor's Surgery I have found the reception staff to be consistently rude, impatient and short tempered. Considering that their job is to HELP the sick and the dying I find this absolutely appauling.
Simple routine tasks such as trying to book an appointment over the phone are met with an audible contempt and play out more like an interogation than a routine appointment booking.
As others have said the wait times are also ridiculous with most appointments having to be booked 2 weeks ahead of time. Additionally if you have an emergency you are required to call

I know everyone has different experiences but every Receptionist/Secretary I have spoken to has been polite and super helpful, this also goes for Nurses and Doctors.
It's very normal to have to wait two weeks for an appointment at most GP Surgery's. Although my last GP Surgery, I had to wait 4 weeks and this was pre-covid in a large surgery with more than double the amount of Doctors. A two week wait, especially during Covid is barely anytime at all. Triage is open till 11am, then reopens at 2pm. If you need an urgent appointment, then you will be seen. Or put in an E-Consult, then it's 72 hours

I've found the staff are always helpful.
The econsult system is really easy and you get a reply back very quickly.
Great GP practice even during these challenging times.

Absolutely awful Doctors.
Impossible to get an appointment, even pre covid. Unless you are dying, expect a 2-4 week wait.
They insist you arrive 15 minutes early and I can assure you I’ve never had an appointment on time, most 30 mins delayed.
Reception are so rude and unhelpful - they provide incorrect advice on what to do with repeat prescriptions, insist on interrogating personal issues before agreeing to an appointment and finally provide incorrect information on booking appointments.
Fire the reception as a start and sort your way of handling patients out.

Very good teaching environment and friendly doctors, nurses and administrative staff. Despite working at a very busy practice Dr Murray was an excellent and encouraging teacher who always put patients as her first priority.
