Red & Green Practice
We have a large number of both male and female doctors with a wide range of medical interests. Many of our doctors are members of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and several are trainers of tomorrow's GP's. Information available from The Red and Green Practice, (providing medical services under contract to the NHS) under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act model publication scheme.

Our staff come to work to care for others, and it is important for all members of the public and our staff to be treated with courtesy and respect. In line with the rest of the NHS and to ensure this is fully observed, we have a Dignity at Work and Zero Tolerance policy. This means that aggressive or violent behaviour towards our staff or any member of the public within our Practice premises will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Services
The App is available for use on mobile devices such as a mobile phone or tablet. Currently it is not available for use on a computer. Use either the 'Apple App store' for IOS devices or Google Play for Android devices to access the download. Before you start check the list of required documents shown in the instructions and that you are able to video yourself on your phone to verify who you are.
The Practice needs to update their records for patients who are carers so they may be given priority to receive a vaccination. To do this, patients who are carers are asked to complete a form that may be downloaded from this site. The form is in two parts and must be signed by both the carer and the patient.
If you have not been able to attend one of the FLU clinics, please contact reception on 023 8089 9119 to ask how to obtain a vaccination. There are special arrangements for children to receive protection against the possibility of getting FLU. Briefly the surgery is able to offer the flu vaccine to 2 and 3 year olds and those children who are in an at-risk category.
As we have been unable to provide events for patients due to the lockdown the PPG has been communicating with patients by email to provide information about Health & Wellbeing issues. We have created an archive of these emails on the PPG website and they may be viewed at:. We are only able to send emails to patients who have given permission to us to use their contact details.
If one of your aims is to improve your healthy weight, you could use the NHS BMI calculator to check your progress. If you are a person who likes to Feel in control of your health then this site provides ideas about how to check your general health and fitness. You could also take the "How are you" quiz.

This practice has a terrible culture!
DR’s are great, but trying to navigate through the admin and secretory layer is an experience I would warn against.
I was appalled at how they treated me after uncovering that they had incorrect data on my records, it was up to me to prove it was wrong. At one stage a secretory even slammed the phone down on me. - I did eventually prove they had incorrect data on my file and it’s been changed, but without an apology!
I am fortunate enough to also have access to private doctors, I would feel totally trapped if this was not the case.

Horrible way to work.
Stone age system.
The worst way of dealing with patients I've ever seen.

Today Tuesday the 05/10/21 have been sitting on the phone for over an hour waiting for the reception to answer the phone having been number 1 for 20 minutes and still listening to their horrible music.
This surgery is supposed to be open but forgot to mention that they don't want to pick up the phone.
How can doctors practice say that they are operating as normal. We have decided to put the phone down now after 1 hour and 15 minutes.
These people are a disgrace and should be dismissed.
Patients from all Doctors practices have been neglected and forgotten. Doctors want people to make appointments

Rang up Friday 1 October as I noticed my Bisiprolol hadn't turned up, ordered 3 Sept. The office said they had forgot it. I monitoring my blood pressure for the doctor and noticed that my resting pulse is in the 90's. Now Oct 6 and still haven't got any. She should have asked the doctor to give me some until my prescription turns up. Same story everytime you have to speak to them. Useless.

Tried to book a phone consultation since request by letter at the end of November, for a medication review. Finally, after 15 minutes on hold at 8.15 this morning was offered tel appointment at 9.30 this morning. Still waiting at 10.57. Very frustrating and have already pushed optician appointment back today as I continue waiting.

Fantastic surgery. I have had to wait occasions when the staff are running late, but it is, no doubt, for good reasons: they have no doubt been listening to or caring for someone who needs more time than me. I have always found the front staff and telephone staff to be helpful and professional. I have heard patients speak rudely to the reception staff and then seem surprised when they get a curt reply! I have always been able to make an appointment when needed. I am very grateful to have this surgery and its wonderful staff in my community.
