Have been registered here since I was born. The doctors & nurses have always been kind and helpful to me, and my wider family. Appreciate it is a hard time we’re all living in, and this review is simply meant as a way to inform the managers of my own experience. Overall, the staff are doing their best and, of course, I appreciate everyone’s efforts despite the obvious roadblocks and pressure, hence the well deserved 5 star review for my experience based on having been a patient here for the last 25+ years. I would just like to Praise AMY for showing a concern that I was unable to double up on my prescription as I plan to go to France for 5 weeks and wanted to be covered if I had to stay in France due to Covid restrictions.
A subsequent call from The prescription tech who sorted it out in minutes after a total of 4 negative contacts with the surgery.

After collecting my prescription from the chemist I realised an Important medicine was MISSING (MORPHINE) so I called the docs to see what's going on, the girl on the phone had no idea what she was doing at 1st said I'd never been prescribed the med in over a year, I've been taking it for 4 years and to leave me with non of this medicine is life threatening. So the phone call lasted 25 mins. I asked to be put on the seriously unwelllest/ EMERGANCY list or put me through to an EMERGANCY line, she Refused. So after 20 mins of backwards and forwards she decided there WAS a seriously unwell list Which

GP said I had an infection in my testicle (twice). Called and asked for my results to be called back and told its nothing and I'll be called as and when and to stop calling as its a pandemic. Was also accused of taking steroids as he sarcastically said "its funny, I've been doing this over 30 years and I've never seen any one who takes steroids. Isn't that funny?" Long story short after them not taking my case seriously I went to the walk in centre in town, had a scan soon after and was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Ive now called the surgery for my blood test to allow me to get my chemotherapy

Been a patient here since moving to Hedge End a few years ago. I have to say that all my dealings with them - I do have underlying health issues so speak to them several times a year minimum - have been very good. Everyone is always polite and I’ve nearly always been seen on time and phoned when they say they will. I’ve seen a lot of the negative reviews, this was mostly why I thought I’d take the time to leave a positive one. GP clinics / medical centres are desperately underfunded and overworked, I don’t think I would want to do the job of a GP, nurse or medical centre receptionist as

I have been registered with this surgery since I moved to Hedge End in Dec 2018. I have experienced no problems with either the Reception Staff, Nurses or Doctors. I have a couple of issues that need reviewing on a regular basis, namely blood tests, but the practice nurses, particularly Carla whom I seen to see most often, are all great & it's nice to have a little chat & laugh when I visit. I try not to make face to face appointments with the Doctors as I feel that they have enough patients who are in greater need of this service than myself. I usually arrange a duty Doctor call & all of these

I recently transferred to this practice due to a house move and my experience with them has been first class. Today they saw my daughter and performed stitches on a deep cut, a procedure which would normally… require a visit to hospital or the walk in centre. But given the current circumstances around the Coronavirus they found a professional who could do it at the practice preventing us from having to be in a crowded place. Thank you so much to Sarah the nurse and doctor heal for your kind actions. Very much appreciated 😀

I would like to say a huge thank you to the kind receptionist who took my call and sorted an immediate apt, the receptionist who came round to help me when she noticed I couldn't breath, the caring patient who helped her and the Dr for dealing with my breathing issues so swiftly and seriously.

I have to praise Hedge End Medical Ctr. Last week I was feeling unwell, I called Thursday morning & was offered an appointment that same day! I also forgot to ask for my repeat prescription whilst I was there & realised on Friday afternoon that I had totally run out, I called to explain & the helpful member of staff ensured the duty doctor signed the prescription so I didn't have to go over the weekend without my medication. I hear so many stories about other Doctors surgeries & of patients having to wait weeks for an appointment or being told to call back when more appointments are released. I
