We are actively involved in restoration projects ranging from a simple replacement interior and hearth to suit client's own surround, to a complete restoration of specific 18th century chimney pieces including the replication of iron-ware. We have our own in-house team of specialist marble masons and carpenters.
At our showrooms and workshops in Knaresborough we continue the tradition of making bespoke chimney-pieces using time honoured methods and materials. We work in wood, marble and stone and also specialise in antique chimney-pieces from both Georgian and Victorian periods. Individually handcrafted authentic designs, bringing both beauty and elegance into your home.

All are original and unique, and as the beauty of the antique marble is a rarity not to be replicated, a visit to our showrooms and workshop is always recommended to view our ever changing stock. From start to finish we knew we could trust this company. Not only was Martin very knowledgeable, but we were able to take our time, view different wood burners in action, and have our questions answered. We needed a full chimney liner put in, along with a steel plate, and this proved to be quite complicated. When the day of installation came, the absolutely WONDERFUL installation engineer, Jai., took everything in hand. Super service from Graham and the team at Aagard. We installed two fires in our refurbished lounge and dining room and Graham provided great support during the project. Particularly pleased with the Bell View Large 3-sided gas fire - it's a beautiful piece of kit. If you are installing TV / A/V equipment above the TV engage an expert A/V company in the project at an early stage.
