The Hall itself was built by the present Viscount Ashbrook's great, great grandfather, Rowland Egerton-Warburton between 1832 and 1885 and is a fine example of the Victorian Jacobean Style.Each room is given its own individual character by the elaborate plaster work, wood panelling, family portraits and porcelain.

Duncombe Park is one of Yorkshire's foremost historic houses and estates, and home to the Duncombe family. The original house was built in 1713 for Thomas Duncombe, and following a fire in 1879 the first Earl of Feversham remodelled the interiors.
Following the death of the second Earl of Feversham at The Battle Of The Somme in 1916, Duncombe Park was leased as a girls school, but was returned to a loving family home in 1985 when it was lovingly restored and refurbished.It is set in 300 acres of dramatic parkland just 3 minutes from the centre of Helmsley, a picturesque, affluent, market town very popular with tourists throughout the year.

George Watson's College is a co-educational independent day school in Scotland, situated on Colinton Road, in the affluent Merchiston / Morningside area of the city. It was first established as a hospital in 1741, became a day school in 1871, and was merged with its sister school George Watson's Ladies College in 1974.

Set in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley, Stonyhurst Hall was built in 1592 by Sir Richard Shireburn and was occupied as the family seat until 1794 when an ancestor gave The Hall and estate to the Society of Jesus as a new home for their college. Since 1794 additions have been made to the college, but the character and style of an Elizabethan manor house remains.
